Cory Environmental Municipal Services (CEMS) currently operates recycling and residual waste collection services for six local authorities. Integrated within these contracts is a range of other ancillary services.
Our collection vehicles vary from traditional standard vehicles for single material collection to tailor-made fleets designed to meet specific customer needs.
At our Milton Keynes contract we use 'one-pass', split-body, multi-chamber vehicles to enable both refuse and recyclables to be collected simultaneously. This reduces local vehicle movements considerably and also provides additional environmental benefits.
Environmental performance is very important for us. Our refuse collection vehicles are fitted with special exhaust systems using particulate traps, powered by ultra low-sulphur diesel, and fitted with recycled tyres. All new vehicles meet the latest EU engine emission standards.
