Mr Jeremy Cotton

Born 1939, Egypt. Lived in South-East London, mainly Greenwich, since approx. 1953. Professional Ecologist. I took part in all three public inquiries into the Belvedere Incinerator (1990, 2003 and 2005) on behalf of various organisations.

I served as an elected Board Member of Thamesmead Town 1986-1994, including two periods as company vice-chair (1987-9 and 1993-4) and as chair of the audit committee 1989-94. I also stood as a candidate for Thamesmead East in a by-election in 1994 and in 1998, 2002 and 2006.

I have also served as a Trustee of the London Wildlife Trust continuously since its formation in 1981.
