Cllr David Leaf

David Leaf was elected Councillor for Belvedere, his home town, in May 2006. As one of the Council's representatives on the RCF, David wants to ensure that the incinerator is built in an open and transparent manner, and that safety concerns are addressed to reduce the risks to public health and the environment.

David has followed the anti-incineration campaign since the 1990s and lived and grew up in Norman Road for more than 20 years. In July 2006, with local campaigners, David presented a 5,000-word petition to 10 Downing Street opposing the decision to build the incinerator.
