Cory Environmental is delighted to have been shortlisted for the next stage of the Gloucestershire waste PFI process.
Bernard Kaufhold, Development Director at Cory Environmental, stated: “Cory Environmental has a long history of partnership working in Gloucestershire. We are therefore very pleased to progress to the next stage of this process as we believe that we can bring significant benefits to the council and residents from our knowledge and local experience. Looking ahead, we hope to build on this experience and work with the local authority and the wider community further, to develop our proposed solution to make sure that it is deliverable, sustainable and value for money. We will work with Gloucestershire County Council to improve recycling, meet landfill diversion targets and utilise waste as a resource.”
Cory Environmental has three operational sites in Gloucestershire; Hempsted landfill site, Gloucester; Wingmoor Farm West landfill site, Bishops Cleeve; and a waste transfer station in Cirencester.
