A new recycling service introduced as part of Cory Environmental's ten year contract with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council has been officially launched.
Chief Executive of Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, Sheila Wheeler and Malcolm Ward, CEO Cory Environmental, officially launched the new recycling service alongside Councillor Paul Barrington-King, Portfolio Holder for Sustainability, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and Peter Horn, Waste Operations Manager, Kent County Council.
From Monday 13 July, Cory will provide Tunbridge Wells residents with their first ever doorstep collection service for cans and plastic bottles. Cory has also been providing a refuse collection service to the Borough's 47,000 households, as well as street cleansing and litter collection services since it took over the contract from Veolia in April.
