Applying for funding

If you are unable to download the application documents online you can get an application pack by contacting the Trust. The Trust Secretary will will be able to discuss your project and whether it’s eligible for an LCF grant.

Submit your application form to the Trust Secretary with as much supporting information as possible. This will help the Trustees reach a well-informed decision on your application. The Trustees meet quarterly and the deadline for applications is one month before each meeting. Providing the Trustees are satisfied with the information you have submitted, the applicant will be notified of a decision within 14 days.

Successful applications
Successful applications are expected to sign a legal agreement specific to their project. ENTRUST registration must also be obtained, if the project is not already registered. ICET can apply for registration on your behalf if required.If you are successful, we ask that you ensure ICET is included in any publicity regarding the project, to make sure people are aware of the Trust’s work.

Applicants also have to show that they have adequate insurance cover to protect them from any potential liabilities. Usually grants are made once the project is satisfactorily completed. However, grants may be paid by instalment as necessary.

Deadlines for applications

The deadlines for applications for 2008 are:
8 February 2008 for a meeting on 7 March 2008
30 May 2008 for a meeting on 3 July 2008
10 October 2008 for a meeting on 12 November 2008
