Highfield South Trust

The Highfield South Trust was formed in 2008 to support environmental improvement projects in the area of Rushall, Shelfield and High Heath in the West Midlands. It currently receives approximately £80,000 per annum
contributions under The Landfill Communities Fund.

The Trust has five trustees all of whom were actively involved in the community before their appointment to the Trust. There are also six committee members who provide support to the trustees in the management of the Trust and in selecting projects which meet the criteria for trust funding.

Projects that are eligible for landfill tax funding include restoration of historic projects, refurbishments of community and sports centres, the improvement of some public gardens and play areas and the enhancement of woodland, riverside and other wildlife habitats.

The trust is chaired by Margaret Hayes and the secretary is Maureen Blincoe. For more information on the trust or if you have a project which you think may be eligible for funding the trust can be contacted at 9 Autumn Close Community Centre, High Heath, Pelsall, West Midlands WS4 1DU, email highfieldsouthtrust@btconnect.com or call the secretary on 01922 684399.
