Ibstock Cory Environmental Trust
The Ibstock Cory Environmental Trust (ICET) was established in February 2001 in conjunction with Ibstock Brick Limited and Cory Environmental Ltd and funded through the Landfill Tax Credit Scheme (LTCS). To date we have supported 150 projects and funding totalling £3 million has been approved. The ICET mainly supports projects in St Helens, Walsall and Dudley, where Cory Environmental has operational sites with links to Ibstock Brickworks. Although priority is given to these areas, sites in other parts of England and Wales and even projects of national scope will be considered.
What do we support?
In line with the Landfill Tax Credit Scheme objects, the trust funds:
· Remediation of contaminated land
· Prevention of pollution
· Community improvement schemes
· Restoration of the built environment, including historic or religious buildings
· Facilitation of works with species and habitats through biodiversity conservation
